Fire, Physical (Bloodfire Mage)
Masses of flame (one per caster level, max 30) appear and randomly target and hit any hostile creature in the area of effect. If there are more creatures than balls of flame, only the closest targets will be damaged. If there are more balls of flame than creatures, the excess balls of flame disappear, if not cast by a Bloodfire Mage. Each ball of flame explodes for 1d6 points of damage per caster level (max 30d6). Every 4 legendary caster levels further increase the number of flames by 1 and the damage by 1d6, reaching 35d6 damage and 35 flames at caster level 60.
When cast by a Bloodfire Mage, this spell can strike each target once per ten caster levels. It does CLd6 Fire damage for the first brand decreasing by 3/4 for each strike on a target. At CL60 the second strike does 45d6, the third 33d6, etc. Brands also drop their targets fire resistance by 2/- per 10 CL (non stacking).
